how come my money changed to EUR and will it change the game play at all?

It dosn't matter what currency you are playing with. Everything keeps the same.

If you log in from the german "login page" then your money is viewed in EURO.

actually you dont have to log in from german website to get change to Euro...it happens very often to me after making a deal..but as you say it doesnt make a diffference :)
