what is a zat (german for snake??)
is it good (everyone seems to have it)
and
where can i get it ??

Zat ist a fantasy name.
Its a good weapon, but to get it you need to go to Atalantis,
what ist very hard to reach.
You need to fly about 33.000 moves outside the map.
With Zepelin full of gas you may reach it.
Bit it's a very anoying travel that takes 2 days online time.
Also Gas is normaly very expensive in Atlantis, so it costs a lot of money to get back.

i am around the new york area and if i were to buy a hot air balloon could i reach atlantis and make it to buy the zat weapon?and if not on the ride filled with gas if i were to have to make stops where to stop and where to go and find it and how much is this?

No, you can't reach Atlantis with a hot air ballon.

The cheapest vehicle you can reach Atlantis is the Zepelin.
Also you can reach it with the Antonov.

Atlantis is about 30.000 Pixel off the map.
So the distance ist about 30 times the map.

A air ballon doesn't have enough cargo.
